Your first day with Chaturji: Complete setup guide for small business teams

What is Chaturji?

Chaturji is an AI-powered collaboration platform built for small business teams. It gives your entire team access to the world's leading AI models, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok, inside one secure, shared workspace. Work is organized into AI-powered spaces called Rooms, each with its own memory, files, and instructions.

How do you create a Chaturji account?

Creating a Chaturji account takes three steps and requires no payment details:

  1. Go to www.chaturji.ai
  2. Click the "Sign Up" button
  3. Sign in with Google or Microsoft, or register with your email and password

Once you log in, two default workspaces are already built for you, no blank-page setup required.

What workspaces does Chaturji provide by default?

Every new Chaturji account includes two pre-built workspaces:

  • My Room: A private sandbox only you can see. Use it for drafts, experiments, and personal tasks.
  • Common Room: A shared hub for your whole account. Colleagues you invite are automatically added here.

How does the Chaturji free trial work?

Chaturji's free trial requires no credit card. Here is what you get:

  • Free credits are added to your account automatically upon sign-up
  • Credits unlock all premium features, including advanced reasoning models, image generation, and file analysis
  • Your data is never used to train AI models. Chaturji uses paid APIs, keeping your inputs private

How do you invite team members to Chaturji?

To invite members to your Chaturji workspace:

  1. Click the profile icon and go to Account Settings
  2. Select Accounts & Members
  3. Click Send Invite in the top-right corner
  4. Enter one or more email addresses separated by commas
  5. Optionally, allow anyone with your company's email domain to join automatically
  6. Or copy and share the invitation link for bulk invites

What can you do in your first Chaturji session?

Three core actions to complete on your first day:

1. Start a Chat.

Type a request in My Room, such as "Draft an agenda for a project kickoff." Chaturji automatically selects the best available AI model. You can also manually switch between Claude, GPT, Gemini, and Grok using the model selector.

2. Chat with a File.

Click the paperclip icon to upload a PDF or spreadsheet. Then ask questions like "Summarize the key risks in this document." The AI reads your file and answers based on its content; this is called Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

3. Create a Canvas.

Move any strong AI response to Canvas by clicking "Move to Canvas." This opens a document editor where you can highlight text and ask the AI to refine, expand, or reformat it. Export your final document as a Word file, PDF, or Markdown.

What is a Chaturji Room?

A Chaturji Room is a dedicated AI workspace with persistent memory. Unlike a basic chat thread, a Room holds context across all conversations inside it.

Example: Upload your brand guide to a Marketing Room once. The AI will reference it automatically in every conversation within that Room.

Room types:

  • Private Room: Visible only to invited members. Best for sensitive or confidential projects.
  • Public Room: Visible to everyone in your account. Best for shared resources, such as company policies.

How do you create a Room in Chaturji?

  1. Click "Create Room" in the left sidebar
  2. Give it a descriptive name such as "Q1 Financials" or "Product Launch."
  3. Set privacy to Private or Public
  4. In the right sidebar, upload files and add URLs under Content
  5. Write Custom Instructions to give the Room a persona, for example: "Always answer as a senior legal analyst and cite the uploaded PDF."

How do you get better answers from Chaturji?

Use these built-in features to improve output quality:

  • Customize Answer: Set tone (formal or friendly), format (bullets or tables), length, and objective before sending your prompt
  • Prompt Library: Choose from 500+ ready-made business prompts organized by use case
  • Quick Response mode: Best for content writing, summaries, and explanations
  • Think Deeper mode: Best for strategy, planning, and complex reasoning
  • Research mode: Searches the web, synthesizes multiple sources, and delivers detailed reports
  • Web Search toggle: Turn on when you need current information
  • Room Content toggle: Turn on to make the AI reference your uploaded files and Room instructions

Can Chaturji generate and edit images?

Yes. Type an image request directly in the chatbox, for example: "Create an image of a futuristic city." Chaturji automatically selects an image generation model. To edit the result, describe the change: "Change the lighting to sunrise."

Can Chaturji analyze data files?

Yes. Drag and drop an XLSX, CSV, PDF, or DOCX file into the chatbox. Then ask questions like "Which categories are over budget? Give me a summary and suggest where we can cut costs." Chaturji performs computations, extracts insights, and generates charts based on your data.

Task | How to do it | What you learn | |:-------------------------:|:----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------:|:--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------:| | Test all model families | Ask a creative prompt (Claude), a logical one (GPT), and a large‑context query (Gemini). | See the strengths of each LLM. | | Create a Project Room | Add a PDF or spreadsheet, then ask a file‑specific question. | Experience Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG). | | Generate & edit a Canvas | Draft a blog post, convert to Canvas, then ask the AI to “Make the intro more engaging.” | Master the chat‑to‑document workflow. | | Generate an image | Prompt “Create a futuristic office layout,” then ask “Add a plant in the corner.” | Try the text-to-image creation and editing feature. Note that this may use up significant credits. | | Use a Prompt Template | Open the Prompt Library, pick a template, and fill in blanks. | Harness the power of structured prompts to boost output quality. | | Invite a teammate | Add a colleague via Admin & Settings → Members, share a Canvas with edit rights. | Test real‑time collaboration and permission controls. | | Check the Usage Dashboard | Profile icon → Admin & Settings → Billing. | Understand credit consumption and plan for a paid upgrade. |

How does Chaturji pricing work?

Chaturji uses a pooled-credit model instead of per-seat pricing. All credits are shared at the account level, meaning heavy and occasional users draw from the same pool, eliminating waste and reducing costs by up to 10x compared to tools that charge $20 to $25 per user.

To upgrade from the free trial:

  1. Click the profile icon and go to Admin and Settings
  2. Select Plan and Billing
  3. Choose a tier based on your projected usage
  4. Enter payment details and confirm

If you need more credits without changing your plan, Top-Up Packs let you add credits instantly.

What a paid plan includes:

  • Access to all the latest and premium AI models
  • Real-time collaboration tools
  • Access to an AI Solutions Expert to integrate Chaturji into your specific workflows

Summary: What makes Chaturji different?

  • Rooms with memory: Context persists across all conversations in a Room
  • Pooled credits: Shared pricing that cuts costs significantly for teams
  • No payment needed to start: Free credits, no card required
