Why Workspaces Matter

Chaturji is designed to empower not just individuals, but entire teams.
Whether you're brainstorming blog ideas, drafting client proposals, or analyzing market trends, it’s better when your team is in sync.

That’s where Workspaces come in.

Think of a Workspace as your shared digital office inside Chaturji - a space where everyone can collaborate on the same content, knowledge, and AI conversations.

What Is a Workspace?

A Workspace in Chaturji is a dedicated area where:

  • You and your team members can share AI chats, prompts, and custom knowledge bases

  • Everyone sees the same materials and contributes together

  • Usage (credits) is tracked and visible for the entire team

By default, every user gets their own Personal Workspace.
However, once you're part of a team, you can switch to a Shared Workspace to facilitate collaboration.

How to Use Workspaces

✅ Creating a Shared Workspace

  1. Click your profile icon (top right corner)
  2. Select “Create New Workspace”
  3. Name your Workspace (e.g., "Marketing Team" or "Client X Project")

👥 Adding & Managing Team Members

After creating a Workspace:

  • Go to Workspace Settings
  • Click “Team Members”
  • Add or remove users as needed (Invite team members by email)

They’ll receive an invitation by email to join Chaturji (if not already signed up) When they accept the invitation, they get added to the Workspace.

You can see who's active, and all members will now have access to the shared workspace assets.

🔄 Switching Between Workspaces

Every user has:

  • A Personal Workspace (default)
  • Any Shared Workspaces they've been invited to

To switch between them:

  1. Click your profile icon (top right)
  2. You'll see a list of available Workspaces
  3. Choose the one you want to work in

⚠️ Note: Make sure you're in the right Workspace when collaborating - each Workspace has separate data and credits.

💳 Checking Workspace Credits

Each Workspace has its own AI usage credits.
This helps manage team-level consumption and avoids surprises.

To check your credits:

  • Go to the top right corner
  • Click the Workspace dropdown (this dropdown has the currently selected workspace)
  • You’ll see available credits for your current Workspace

This way, you know whether you're using personal resources or shared team resources.

💡 Tip: Use the Right Workspace for Collaboration

If you're working on something the whole team needs access to - like a pitch deck or blog strategy - switch to the shared Workspace first.
Otherwise, your team won’t see it.

What Can You Do Together in a Workspace?

Inside a shared Workspace, your team can:

  • Access a shared Knowledge base (upload docs, notes, PDFs)
  • Use shared custom prompts across AI models
  • View and continue shared chats
  • Collaborate on projects in a single unified space
